Owned by celebrity chef Glynn Purnell, inspiration for cocktails has come from some of the first edition cocktail books dating back to 1923.

The extensive cocktail list includes hard-to-find spirits and lots of surprises.

Definitely the place to go if you’re after something a bit more original than a mojito or a mai tai.

Dirty Martini

This impressive new bar opened on Bennetts Hill in April 2018 replacing Viva Brazil restaurant. It has an impressive interior.

It's handy for after work drinks and has a DJ at weekends, when it is open until 2.30am.

40 St Paul's

Jamhouse

In St Paul's Square, check out The Jamhouse for the best in jazz, blues, soul and pop. Top tip: book a table for dinner to get a good viewing spot and somewhere to sit down when you're tired from dancing.

Gaucho

This swanky restaurant is famous for its steak but also has some fab cocktails.
